Delete Your Subly Account

This page applies to the Subly Android app published by Subly.

Request deletion in the app

Open Subly → Me → Privacy and data → Request deletion. After you confirm, the app signs you out, revokes mobile sessions and schedules the account for deletion after a 7-day safety period.

Request deletion without the app

Email [email protected] with the subject “Subly Android account deletion request”. Send the request from the email address used for Google Sign-In so we can verify account ownership. We will acknowledge the request and may ask for limited information needed to prevent deletion of the wrong account.

What is deleted

The deletion workflow removes or anonymizes your account profile, authentication sessions, device tokens, uploaded source media, saved translation artifacts and other personal data associated with the account. Data held by processing providers is also scheduled for deletion where applicable.

Purchase, fraud-prevention, security and accounting records may be retained only for the period required by applicable law or a legitimate security obligation. Backups may take up to 30 days to cycle out after deletion. These retained records are not used to keep the deleted account active.

Google Play subscriptions

Deleting a Subly account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Subly. You may request account deletion before or after canceling; support is available at [email protected].
